One of my favorite daytime amateur radio hang-outs here on the West coast
during the daytime is 7258 khz. I enjoy it because of the many
interesting and somewhat eccentric characters heard there. Some of the past "greats" are now
conspicuous by their absence and the mix of stations continues to wax and wane over the years.
